rUNSWeep is in the process of developing a new Planner, allowing us to move away from situational-based tasks to a multipurpose robot. Through the integration of vision pipelines, manipulation, navigation, speech, and a World Model database, the planner is able to take in any verbal or visual prompt and successfully action the correct response.

We currently have various members of the team completing their Honour’s thesis and pHD with us, with the publication of these to follow shortly! Some research focus points include Manipulation and the creation of a World Model, allowing the robot to dynamically update a database with objects and scenes as it processes them from its environment whilst operating.
